When can you hire a motorcycle?

Passmasters does not offer standalone road-bike rental. Hire is only available when you are completing an eligible course, coaching session or motorcycle assessment with us.

Learner and BHST

A suitable training motorcycle is included with the one-hour, 1.5-hour and two-hour learner sessions. A helmet and gloves are also provided, up to helmet size 2XL.

CBTA Restricted and Full

Hire bikes are available for selected CBTA 6R and CBTA 6F assessments. The bike must be confirmed for your location and assessment date.

Selected motorcycles can be hired for Bronze and Silver courses. Your licence, experience and the bike available at the venue determine suitability.

Confirm the bike before course day

Bike allocation depends on the course, venue, rider and fleet availability.

Bring your own bike

Your motorcycle is welcome too

You can use your own motorcycle when it is appropriate for the training, roadworthy and legal for your licence.

LAMS requirements

Learner and Restricted riders must use a motorcycle approved under the Learner Approved Motorcycle Scheme.

Roadworthiness

For road courses and assessments, your motorcycle needs current registration and warrant of fitness, suitable tyres and fully functioning controls, lights and safety equipment.

Questions before requesting a bike

Can I hire a motorcycle without booking a course?

No. Passmasters hire bikes are only available with eligible Passmasters training, coaching or assessment bookings.

Is a bike included with learner training?

Yes. A training motorcycle is included in the learner and BHST session price. A helmet and gloves are also supplied, with helmets available up to size 2XL.

Can I choose a specific model?

You can request a model, but allocation depends on your suitability, the course, venue, servicing and existing bookings.

How much does hire cost?

Hire pricing varies by assessment, course and bike. The team will confirm the cost when the motorcycle is reserved.

Can I hire a bike for Ride Forever Gold?

The current fleet is listed for selected Bronze and Silver courses. Contact the team about any other course requirement before booking.
